Sensory Activity

Penelope's daycare has a daily sensory activity as part of their curriculum. They do all sorts of cool things. Here's the list from this week's planned activities:
Make flowers with play doh
Explore the classroom with a flashlight
Sensory table with shaving cream
Play with different types of toy insects
Touch different flower textures

So the day Penelope stayed home with Chris due to teacher in-service we did a sensory activity. Or at least that is what I'm telling myself because I was too tired to bring out my stern mommy voice and tell her this wasn't appropriate for dinner time.

And in case 1 minute wasn't enough...

There are quite a few times I don't feel like pulling out the stern mom voice. We, too, have had milk bubble blowing at the dinner table, and jumping on the bed. I'm gonna go with sensory learning, too :)

I am so glad you let her explore! My general thought is that if they aren't going to break something that I care about, it's fair game. LOVED her reaction! She's adorable.

What's wrong with blowing milk bubbles? I think it's totally awesome! It makes me want to blow milk bubbles with her! :) She's such a love bug!
