Follow up to Christmas

Since we've been sick this week I didn't get a chance to finish up on our Christmas trip. As you can see from the pictures we had a busy, wonderful time. The weather was great! Penny loved the beach. Staying at Pam and Ed's was so much fun. It was the house of babies. Both little ones did great, but they think the holiday is officialy called "Hot Potato Baby". On Christmas Eve, Penelope was wide eyed and kind of stunned by all the people. By Christmas she had gotten used to things and with a smaller crowd cooed and smiled quite a bit. Plus, she LOVED Aunt Pam and had lots of smiles for her in the mornings.
On Saturday we went to Lauri and Luca's house for a reunion with some of my old coworkers. This year Lauri and Kari both had baby girls. In fact, Kari's baby was due on 9/11 so we were email buddies all through our pregnancies.

Babies sleeping...if you look on the couch you'll see Penelope all swaddled up

Lila playing with the xylophone we got her. She's a little smartie. She understood what to do right away.

Lila and Lauri. Lila is such a ham. The moment you bring out the camera she smiles and poses.
