I took her to the Children's Museum in the morning. That place was packed! The toddler room was crazy, but it's huge so she had room to run around and make friends with other kids 1 1/2 years old. The rest of the blog is a picture overload, so if you don't want to see an adorable toddler go on to another blog...I understand...but you are missing out on some great 80's style...

Okay, all of you still left here, check out the side ponytail and cool striped sweater. I had to say no when she asked if we could break out the shoulder pads.
Who doesn't like fun mirrors? I took photos of me and Penelope in the mirror, but they don't have any of the skinny mirrors. Penelope's cheeks look extra cute in the chubby mirror, mine not so much. Oh, by the way, this is how Penny "walks". I keep thinking she'll realize her knees hurt and walking is so much easier. She may have calloused knees at the rate we are going (sigh).
Ruling over the babies...no, really...right beneath her is the area for all the wee babies. Penelope screeched at them while they rolled around and drooled.

Love, love, love this picture. Makes me want to go wake her up right now and cuddle in the rocking chair. I'll fight it. I've done it before, and it leads to no good. Believe me, no good can come of waking up your baby no matter how bad your day is and all you need is a cuddle...so I will avert my eyes from this photo for now.
Such a little explorer! We played so hard she fell asleep in the 10 minute stroller ride back to the car, and it was 2 hours before her nap.

What a great President's day. It certainly looked like a lot of fun.I agree about never waking a sleeping baby. We woke Jennifer up one time so the you and her could get on the same schedule. 2 days latter we finally got some sleep again.
I would gladly be a subject of Dictator Penny.....wow, what a special day!!!! She wears the 80's quite well....I'm so thankful that I don't have to wake a sleeping baby when I've had a bad day I have 3 websites to visit....not the same as a baby cuddle but they definitely bring a smile to the face....love you all!!!!
Ha ha I'm laughing at the pic of her screeching at the littler babies. I can just imagine her doing that. So cute!
I love that you take her to all these activities and things to do. What a fun mom! I am going to learn from your example.
And I totally know what you mean by wanting to cuddle. I want to do that all the time! After Collin has been asleep for at least 4 hours I start to miss him. But I never wake him either....I just settle for going in there and staring at him for a few minutes. But it's hard because then I want to at least touch his cheek and he's a pretty light sleeper...so that could get me in trouble too. SO I just go to sleep and wait until the morning.
Ha I love reading about Penny's adventures!
Penny totally rocks the '80s look - if only she had some slouchy socks and hi-top Reeboks. In neon. And blue eyeshadow.
