It's a good thing someone in the family remembers to feed Cece.
IThis afternoon we had a picnic dinner at the Lower Riverside park along the Mississippi river. There were so many bugs in the air I think we got a whole serving of protein just talking to each other. Penelope had fun meeting the caterpillars.
I'm pretty relaxed with most bugs...but when she touched a cockroach on the wall beneath the caterpillars I grabbed her hand and screamed nooooo so loud Penelope's hair stood on end.

eeeek yucky cockroaches!! I knew a girl whose daughter would pick them up and squeeze her little hands into fists....thus killing the cockroaches, but also really freaking out her mom who was totally disgusted. yuck. Good thing Penny doesn't do that!! :)
She is so adorable! I love the video of her w/Cece, he is so gentle and patient w/her and she is so comfortable around dogs, it is great to see!
