We are surprised to learn that Penelope has a favorite cartoon character. Yes, Elmo. We have 2 elmo books, which we've read a few times. Suddenly this week they are the books she wanted to read over and over again. I know she has never seen Elmo on TV. Maybe all the kids at day care talk about Elmo? But for whatever reason she is on an Elmo kick. I don't mind. I think How Big is Elmo is a great book.

oh my gosh I loved that. It warmed my heart. You are a good mama. And Penelope is a good little girl! :) It's just so much fun seeing one of my childhood friends being a mama.
Dylan loves Elmo too! We have the So Big book, but he ripped his head off on the last page. The Elmo's world books are great and the CD Elmo's greatest hits (or something like that) is awesome too.
ELMO ROCKS! And so does Penelope :)
