So here was our first look at Penelope. She wasn't too excited about giving up that comfy free room and board...
And now a year later!
Last night Chris installed the "Big girl" car seat. Her eyes were so big looking around the neighborhoods as we drove home from day care.
This was her first car ride at 5 days old...I still can't get over how she changed right in front of my eyes. Early on the days seemed so long, but boy, it can fly by.
When we got home, I changed Penelope in the pretty pink dress from Aunt Barb and Uncle Mike. Dresses aren't the best for crawling babies, but it is just so darn pretty I had to put her in it. Yes, princess, you do have adoring fans...
Here she is with all her loot from the grandparents and great grandparents. She loved the xylophone from Mommy and Daddy.

Okay, this looks more like that baby we met a year ago!

It has been quite the year for you guys....so wonderful!!!! Happy Birthday to Princess Penelope!!! I am so proud of the woman/mother you have become.....you are amazing!!!! I love you all very much!!! Enjoy the next year with all the new adventures yet to come!!!!!!!

ha ha aw that is so cute, but it makes me sad how fast that first year goes!! I'm sure Collin will love when he can graduate to a "big boy" car seat. He screams bloody murder the minute we put him in his infant car seat. He hates that thing! Congrats for being an awesome mommy for a whole year already!
