Wow! Five wonderful years! On Friday Chris sent me beautiful flowers to my office. Then Friday night we ate breakfast for dinner just like we did at our wedding. Penelope is a huge fan of this tradition already. She ate half a waffle and a million blueberries. I don't know what we are going to do when blueberries go out of season. She never gets tired of them.Anyways, back to our weekend...Chris and I went kayaking on Lake of the Isles and out to lunch in Uptown. A big thanks to Jackie Lee for babysitting. Penny and Libbi got to have a girls lunch, playdate and a nap.

Then the rest of the weekend we filled with laundry, painting (one day we will be done with those silly kitchen cabinets) and playing outside with the Penmeister. I took her to the library on Sunday. As you can imagine it wasn't very crowded so she got to practice crawling somewhere besides our living room and her bedroom. She officially can do real crawling.
Nothing like a book to entice her...
Uh oh, here she comes!

Of course, miss Pea, whatever you want!

Cute photos! Before you know it she will be walking and then the real fun begins:) I LOVE that you guys have the tradition of eating breakfast for dinner on your anniversary. I will always remember that about your wedding! That and cutting a rug with 5 week old Aidan:) Sounds like you guys had a great weekend!
So glad you were able to celebrate the big day.......lvoe the pics of Miss Penny....she just gets cuter and cuter!!! Hugs all around!!!
What a great tradition. Sounds like you had a great anniversary. Penelope certainly looks like she enjoys the crawling thing. Love you all.
You had one of the most creative, beautiful weddings I've ever been to! Breakfast for dinner, photos on tables, photo guest book, chocolate fountain... I still remember every detail! :)
Glad you had a great weekend!
I love that wedding picture, you guys are so adorable. And Penny is super cute as always. I can't believe she's going to be one already!
And bike helmets are good! Laura hit a car on her bike a couple months ago, and her head took the hubcap off. If she hadn't been wearing a helmet it would have been really bad... after that even my little brother started wearing a helmet.
I am impressed that mpls has so many bikers... esp. in the winter. awesome!
Thanks for the shout out, but I would seriously watch that little girl WHENEVER ... Libbi went right by the pack n' play on Sunday and looked at me like "what did you do with my friend that was in here?"
Breakfast for dinner is my favorite followed a close second by chocolate fountains ... had I known you then, I know would have LOVED your wedding - and your picture is absolutely freakin' adorable, as always. Congrats!
