We had a great weekend with Grandma and Grandpa! Penelope is going through princess withdrawal this week.

Yup, she moved up to the preschool class. The "silly faces" start every time I break out the camera.

On Sunday we visited their hotel where Penelope showed off everything she is learning in swimming class.

No Strand trip is complete without a trip to the Mall of America. Penelope was very adamant on which rides we had to do.

Looks like everyone had a great time. I love the funny faces. I guess the title is better than some of the alternatives, "Innocents aboard the Penelope Train" or "Life on the Mississippi with Penelope"
What a wonderful time had by all!!!! And who wouldn't want to take that amazing backpack to show and tell???!!! And stylin' boots...what more could a girl ask for???? The funny faces are great.....

Chris's parents look so young! I hope Brenden and I look like that when we're grandparents! :) I can't believe how big Penelope is getting! Do I say that everytime?
So fun!!! I can't wait to see all of the faces that will be evolving in the funny faces stage :) And I love that the carousel is her favorite ride :)
Penelope and Charlotte can hang out with their backpacks together. Charlotte has commandeered Molly's old backpack for her own and loves to walk around with it. The funny face is awesome, and that is an amazing hotel pool! Glad everyone had such a good time.
PS: I'm guessing the title is referring to the book by Mark Twain, right?
