Love it! And the gardening story! I'm with you Re: family sizes. Keep in mind that out of those 15, only 5 or so would have lived into teen years and above, statistically speaking. Also, humans are humans. They aren't going to stop having--ahem--marital relations just because they've already got 12 kids in the next room.
