This weekend Chris was pretty ill so I had the job of raking leaves. It was a nice fall day, and I got quite a workout. Who needs a gym membership when you have leaves to rake and months of snow shoveling, right? After 12 bags I had Penny come outside to enjoy the day with me.
We don't have stairs for her to climb inside, but she figured it out pretty quickly. Doesn't she look adorable in her new pink jacket from Grandma Chuck?
Awww...big smile! In 2 weeks I bet you can see the top tooth that is starting to poke through.
Then Mommy decided to take a "fun" fall picture like Cousin Molly. I sat Penny in the leaf pile and she quickly sank and fell backwards. She didn't find it fun at all.
Ah well...I still have the back yard to rake. Maybe I'll try the leaf picture one more time this year :)

I bet you wish Papa John was there to help you play in the leaves. I would also give you cheese and not make you beg for it like Cece.
These are great pictures. I like her smile on the stairs.
Wow, your yard looks like our yard times ten, and ours is full of leaves. It is a great workout though, isn't it? My arms burn for days after a good raking.
