Freeze this moment

This morning Penelope and I were playing and singing songs on the couch. She was being extra snuggly and before I knew it she fell asleep. I broke my rules of naps being in the crib, and she napped like this for over an hour. I know it looks staged, but I was really reading a book titled Home. So even if it is an early start to winter, I got a whole hour of snuggles and finished a pretty good book.

some rules are just meant to be bent sometimes - Life is just TOO short - Love to you both

Aw little cuddles - I LOVE it! That is one of my all time favorite things about being a mom to a little itty bitty one. There's just honestly nothing better than their little warm body snuggled up on your chest and neck. It's better than sitting in front of a fire with a blanket.

P.S. We're coming up to MN for Christmas. I'll need your suggestions for having a baby in cold weather. I obviously have no experience with that one. I barely know how to dress myself for the cold to be honest with you. We should get together when we're there!

What beautiful thoughts and a wonderful picture. Thank you so much for sharing with someone who remembers the same feelings with Penelope's mom.

Awe! Evie won't cuddle like that anymore so I completely understand why napping rules were broken. I would have done it too!

It's pictures like this that make people want to have more babies (and forget about the head lice, diarrhea, puking, etc. etc.). Libbi likes to snuggle against my leg more than anything. It is kind of wierd but really sweet. I wish she would fall asleep like Penny. That picture is meant for a frame on your desk. So cute!
