And when I walked in the door on Thursday night Penny was asleep in her crib, Chris was sitting in the living room folding baby laundry, and Cece was snoozin on the bed. It was a wonderful feeling to come home to all of that.

Wonderful pictures. Sorry you had to go on a business trip, but it sure sounds like Chris made the most of his time with Penny. Your mom never trusted me enough to leave you home with me. (I think your mom is pretty smart)
I wish grandma and Papa John were close enough to help out when you need baby sitting.

Awww bummer that you had to leave. It's way harder on you than it is on them! And I always feel a little sad when Liam doesn't miss me while I'm in class but I also feel sad if he's crying and upset the whole time. It's just sad no matter what!
I'm glad she did good and had fun with Chris. It's good to get some daddy-time :)
