2 months!!

It has been eight weeks and I'm amazed at how much little Penny can do. Everyday Chris and I look at her and are shocked at how big she is. Just to show you here is a picture of her in a Gerber 3-6 month onesie. It seemed snug when I put her in it last night, but then this morning when I had unswaddled her she had this off the shoulder look going on. Gerber is notorious for running small, but 3-6 months?! No wonder she is always hungry! Of course, she does have that big cloth diaper, but even still...
Penny has always had really good head/neck control, but she is getting stronger every day. I got a mommy/baby work out tape. She is weight resistance for me most of the workout, but the last 15 mins is baby yoga. She does great with all the tummy time exercises. Here is her tummy time photo shoot this morning:Now that she is awake more we do lots of activities. Yesterday we went to the YWCA and walked 2 miles on the indoor track. Well, I did the walking and she slept in the stroller for most of the time. I'm so glad I have this option. It is getting way too cold to take her outside for long walks and I'm going stir crazy to be in the house all day. Then today we did swimming in the bathtub for the first time. She kicks her legs like a hyper little frog. I've never gotten so many smiles at one time. We'll have to do that more often. Plus, we did more of the word cards my mom sent. We have 2 boxes of word cards and 5 boxes of bits (word cards with pictures) from when I was a kid so we've got lots of learning to do! After all of that Penelope was all pooped out---picture to prove it:

Super cute diaper loading shirt!

Does Penelope like tummy time? Evie screams and cries every time we try to do tummy time and just lays there flailing.

She's in a room with a 4:1 ratio. The biggest reason she doesn't get as much attention as the other babies is because she's a very calm baby. She can sit there without crying or be put in a swing and fall asleep for 2 hours. Doesn't mean she should be put in the swing :-/

I'm very tempted to look for a job in the evenings so that she doesn't have to be in daycare.
